Watch birds while relaxing in you holiday chalet.

Early morning is typically the best time of the day for birding since many birds are searching for food which makes them easier to find and watch.

Visit a Nature reserve.

The names of our lodges, Heron, Kingfisher, Wagtail and Woodpecker all relate to birds that we regularly see at Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges.

As well as our black swans we see many wild birds in our trees and around our lakes. Barn owls nest nearby.

Nature reserves

There are a number of reserves that bird watchers will enjoy within a short drive from here including Lackford Lakes and Lakenheath.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust describe Suffolk's nature reserves as 'some of the richest wildlife areas in the UK.'
