COVID-19 Statement - Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges
Updated 25th March 2020

In light of the Directives given by the Government on 23rd and 24th March 2020 to stay at home and avoid non-essential travel in order to tackle the spread of Coronavirus, it is with great sadness that I have to inform you of our decision to close Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges for the time being.

Clearly this has a significant impact on our business and our guests who can no longer take up their existing bookings during at least April and May 2020, and possibly longer.

Antony and I are extremely sad that we are not able to welcome you to Badwell Ash for the time being but we have every intention of re-opening as soon as is practicably possible. We will keep you informed as and when anything changes in this regard via our website, email marketing and our social media pages.

Existing bookings which were due to arrive before 4th June 2020

For now, we are contacting everyone who has an existing booking with us during April and May 2020 to ensure you are aware of the current situation and to advise you of the steps we are taking. Most importantly, for all guests who were due to arrive by 4th June 2020 we are offering to amend their booking free of charge to a later date. Please see our Temporary Amendment Terms and Conditions for further details.

If, however, you are certain you want to cancel your booking our Standard Terms and Conditions apply. Your contract does not allow for any refunds and we recommend you refer to your individual travel insurance provider for clarification as to whether your claim will qualify under the terms of your policy.

Existing bookings due to arrive on or after 5th June 2020

As you can imagine, we are busy prioritising guests with more immediate arrival dates and we hope you can appreciate this. We recommend sitting tight for the time being and waiting to see how the situation unfolds. Do keep in touch with us though if you have any concerns; we would appreciate if this could be by email in the first instance to info@badwellashlodges.co.uk

If, however, you are certain you want to cancel your booking our Standard Terms and Conditions apply. Your contract does not allow for any refunds and we recommend you refer to your individual travel insurance provider for clarification as to whether your claim will qualify under the terms of your policy.

Future Bookings

In line with Government guidance we are currently not accepting any future bookings due to arrive on or before Monday 29th June 2020. If you would like to make a booking to arrive after this date please feel free to book online or telephone us on 01359 258444. Standard Terms and Conditions will apply to such new bookings.

Please understand that we are receiving an increased number of enquires at this time. We are working hard to contact all of our guests who are affected by this situation. Please bear with us; we promise we will be in touch soon. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times and look forward to re-opening our site and welcoming guests back as soon as it is safe to do so.

We wish all our guests good health during this time.
