Bury St. Edmunds holds one of the region's best provision markets on Wednesday and Saturday.

The Arc is a brand new shopping centre.

Ipswich, Cambridge and Norwich offer a regional shopping experience.

Ipswich

One of the region's best shopping destinations. There are also two shopping malls:Tower Ramparts and The Buttermarket.

Smaller, specialist shops can be found in Upper Orwell Street, Dog's Head Street and Tacket Street. Much of the town centre is pedestrianised. General market on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Norwich

The city is ranked as one of the top five places for shopping in the country - offering an excellent mix of High Street and independent stores.

Take a walk down the 'Art Nouveau' style Royal Arcade to visit the famous Colman's Mustard Shop or enjoy the retail therapy on offer at Jarrolds, twice winner of the UK's Independent Department Store of the Year. The city is also noted for England's largest six day (Monday to Saturday) open air market - established in 1075, and featuring over 200 multi-coloured stalls.
