Fun at the Suffolk Show

Some of our guests had a fabulous day out at the Suffolk Show, and we went along too, to see what all the fuss was about. It's a fantastic celebration of all that is best about Suffolk, with an interesting blend of modern day life and a nostalgic look back at yesteryear. There is a whole lot to do including heavy horses, show jumping, falconry, best bull competition (big stuff), lots of dog things, sheep shearing, blacksmithing, bee keeping, top end country clothing, all kinds of arts/crafts, huge range of food, fun fair, fishing, and even a vintage John Deere tractor display (got to love that!). 

In short, the show easily fills a day and we came away feeling proud of our county and having learned quite a bit about what's is going on in the area. The dates for next year's show are June 2nd/3rd 2027, and the show ground is only 30 minutes' drive from Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges, so make sure to book your lodge up!!
