Emails, enquiries and complaints

Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges offers various services to the public. We have to hold the details of the people who have requested the service in order to provide it. For example, we might use information about people who have subscribed to any of our services to carry out a survey to find out if they are happy with the level of service they received. When people do subscribe to our services, they can cancel their subscription at any time.

Job applicants and employees

When individuals apply to work at Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges, we will only use the information they supply to us to process their application. Rights for individuals

5. THE RIGHT TO RESTRICT PROCESSING

Individuals have a right to 'block' or suppress processing of personal data. We shall restrict the processing of personal data where an individual contests the accuracy of the personal data, we shall restrict the processing until we have verified the accuracy of the personal data, when processing is unlawful and the individual opposes erasure and requests restriction instead, and if we no longer need the personal data but the individual requires the data to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. If we have disclosed the personal data in question to third parties, we shall inform them about the restriction on the processing of the personal data, unless it is impossible or involves disproportionate effort to do so. 6. THE RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY

Individuals have a right to obtain and reuse their personal data for their own purposes across different services. We shall fulfil this right on personal data an individual has provided to us, where the processing is based on the individual’s consent or for the performance of a contract, and when processing is carried out by automated means. We shall provide the personal data in an appropriate format. If the individual requests it, we may transmit the data directly to another organisation if this is technically feasible.

7. THE RIGHT TO OBJECT

Individuals have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority (including profiling), direct marketing (including profiling) and on personal data processed for the performance of a legal task. We shall stop processing the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the individual, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
